Il Trofeo Internazionale Alpe Adria Judo nasce nel lontano 1996 e si svolge tradizionalmente a fine gennaio nella cornice del Bella Italia Efa Village di Lignano.

Anno dopo anno, la manifestazione è cresciuta sotto tanti aspetti, affermandosi nel calendario nazionale e internazionale per numero dei partecipanti, per l’alto livello tecnico degli atleti e per l’efficienza della “macchina” organizzativa.

Il trofeo, che rappresenta la prima tappa del Grand Prix per la classe Cadetti e Junior, ha visto la partecipazione di molti judoka che, successivamente, hanno raggiunto risultati straordinari a livello internazionale. Tra di essi, si possono citare nomi illustri come Hidayet Heydarov, Ana Velensek, Fabio Basile, Odette Giuffrida, Maria Centracchio ma non solo!

The International Alpe Adria Judo Trophy was founded in 1996 and takes place at the end of January at the Bella Italia Efa Village in Lignano.

Year after year, the event has grown in many ways, establishing itself on the national and international calendar for the number of participants, the high technical level of the athletes, and the efficiency of the organisational ‘machine’.

The tournament, which represents the first stage of the Grand Prix for the Cadet and Junior classes, has been attended by many judokas who have achieved extraordinary results at international level. Among them, we can mention illustrious names such as Hidayet Heydarov, Ana Velensek, Fabio Basile, Odette Giuffrida, Maria Centracchio … but not only them!
